- One of these things would most definitely to be disciplined. this simple means sticking to a treatment regimen religiously, employing proven strategies on a daily basis would work wonders to treat stubborn acne problems. when embarking on any treatment regimen is sticking to it every day is the key to getting great results in a relatively short period of time. Think of it, if you treat your acne once or twice a week then the likelihood of obtaining good results would be less than if you work on your skin every day and this is often overlooked by persons, we think that we could use the products whenever we like and would be able to have as good results as if we were regularly applied treatment products on a daily basis
- Resist the temptation to pick or squeeze pimples, now we hear this all the time but we don't take heed. picking or squeezing the face not only damages the layers of the face but more importantly it causes openings that are now exposed to micro organisms that inhabit the surface of the skin. this results in and inflammatory reaction occurring causing what appears to be a break out, further exacerbating the acne problem.
- Use an acne treatment system, that incorporates cleansing and moisturising twice daily. if you are lucky to find a system that has a toner that's even better, you are on your way to getting rid of acne faster than normal.
- Have a holistic approach to acne treatment, that is do not just look at topical measures, but focus on what you put into your body as well as your level of physical activity. Acne treatment like any medical condition usually benefit from adapting a healthy lifestyle, so ensuring that you drink adequate water and incorporate at least 15 minutes of physical exercise in your daily routine would go a long way towards improving the appearance of your skin. ideally 30 minutes of sustained is recommended by health enthusiasts but any amount of physical activity is good, so if you do not have 30 minutes then 15 or even 10 minutes would be better than not working out at all.
- Do not compare your progress to others. It is important to monitor and track your progress to see how far you have come but this should be done based on where you would have started to the point you are today. Looking at others may cause you to stop treatment because you might not be showing the same progress others showed when they did exactly as you are doing now. hence the only person you want to look at is you, if based on where you have started and where you are now you see no progress, and you are about 2-3 weeks into using a product then it would be ok to try something else. If not, continue and you would be able to get rid of your acne in no time.
